I entered this cohort largely by instinct that my life and work felt chaotic and complex and I could use some support and tools to navigate. I walked away with deeper understanding of how I operate within complexity and chaos (which was a bonus!) and also clear tools i could utilize with teams. Furthermore, because of the practice using tools during the session I also got clarity on which things i am working on are actually chaotic and which are complex, unraveling a tightly wound knot in my brain that prevented me from confidently taking next steps. Now unraveled, I feel clearer to act and lead. Susan and Stefan felt more like sherpas guiding us through our walk and inviting us to walk alongside than teachers imparting their earned wisdom. I highly recommend.

I've been doing this for 14 years, and I'm a trusted backroom player in my field. I'm finally at this place where I just know we're going to run things differently. They know there's some special sauce of Suzanne when they hire me to do this stuff, but they can't articulate what it is. I am confident in my intuitive and sensing and sense-making capacity, and comfortable with complexity and not knowing. And I'm just always trying to get more tools and more confident, and trying to change the culture a little bit. When I'm doing the strategic bits of my work, I'll be bringing in a lot of these structures. Just the reminder around collective decision making, first deciding which decisions can be done individually as a first move, immediately taking all the cognitive load off the group. That's such a good reminder. I don't do that enough. These structures give me a lot of hope.
